Our Single Origin is quickly becoming a customer favourite
Our Single Origin Novo Haze from Brazil is quickly becoming a customer favourite and we couldn’t be happier. We truly adore this coffee, so let’s take a moment to delve into why it’s so special.
Grown by farmer Pedro Gabarra and his sister Mariana, this coffee comes from one of the most sustainable farms in the Sul de Minas region of Brazil. A natural coffee grown around 1,000 metres above sea level, from the Mundo Novo variety, it embodies both quality and care.
Pedro Gabarra is a sixth-generation coffee grower, and his farms are celebrated not only for their exceptional cup profiles but also for their deep commitment to environmental and social responsibility. He has converted large areas of his farms into protected forest reserves that provide a safe haven for hundreds of native plant and animal species. The farms run on renewable energy, using efficient water systems and natural pest control to minimise their impact on the environment. Just as importantly, Pedro invests in the people behind the coffee through educational programs and fair working conditions, creating a sustainable community around his work.
His coffees regularly feature in Cup of Excellence competitions, proving that sustainability and flavour excellence can truly go hand in hand. Pedro shows that coffee can be both exceptional and ethical, a perfect example of how conscious farming creates a richer cup and a better world.
